Sandstone Chapel
The Chapel is part of the Clarendon Forest Retreat Tourist Development.

The brief was to create a village type atmosphere with a chapel as a main focal point.
The interior is a split level with the bedroom under the ‘bell tower’, kitchen dining and lounge area on the ground level, and a large bathroom with spa pool and WC on the basement level.
Attached to the east and north are covered hardwood decks.
Special features include:
- Hardwood roof frame with cypress pine lining
- Reconstituted sandstone walls
- Kitchen and stairs are solid red mahogany and jarrah hardwood
- Granite bench tops
HIA finalist in the ‘ARCHITECT AND DESIGNERS AWARD’ category in 1995.
